Diesel Only The Brave brought together four bands to battle it out in an online mix competition. We saw the likes of Waze and Odyssey, Mount Kimbie, The Klaxons and Clean Bandit rally for votes throughout the facebook campaign. The latter competitors made it through to the live final at Oslo in Hackney which was streamed online. This film shows the highlights of the campaign and the close battle between the finalists.
The full production team descended on Grosvenor House to cover the event of the year in British hairdressing. The Grand Final of the L'Oréal Colour Trophy was the culmination of months of work and it was a night to remember. Clockwise provided the bespoke projection mapped screen content, live coverage, on-site edits, promotional materials and this final highlights piece featuring the award ceremony and fashion shows from Dylan Bradshaw, Rush, TONI&GUY and more.
This year we teamed up with Formulate Media for our annual trip to the UKs largest festival. Armed with wellies and umbrellas, as well as a couple of SLR cameras, we set off to Glastonbury to cover the opening day of the Silver Hayes area. We conquered the rain and shot all day on Thursday and released this film on Friday to build some buzz around the opening of the festival. Our latest edit for Boomtown Fair is the ‘Explore Our World’ video in collaboration with animator Olly Robertson. The video takes you on a tour around the UK’s Maddest City with the complete line ups for each area. For those that don’t know, Boomtown Fair is one of the best festivals in the UK....
For the last few weeks our film crew have been travelling across the UK with the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Regional Tour, filming the events, providing the essential live camera and creating daily round up edits. The action started on April 5th where half the team did the long drive from Bristol to Holyhead to get the ferry over to Ireland, then the onward drive from Dublin to Belfast!
On a rather overcast and chilly winter day, the intrepid Clockwise team headed out from Bristol to the shores of South Wales to test the Sony FS700 with our new Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L ISM lens.
It may be a wet and windy winter but the Clockwise Media Creative Team in Bristol won't let that stop them from going for a skate. Last week they headed out at lunchtime to play on their boards and the high frame rate recording feature on the Sony FS700. Creative Director Dan said, "Ok, we admit we might not be the most talented or stylish skateboarders in the world but it definately felt good to blow away the cobwebs and get some fresh air. Enjoy.."
Last week, we headed to Holborn Studios to shoot a L'Oréal Academy training video and photoshoot. We shot 11 models with 11 different looks over five days with Steve Rowbottom and Leanne Brown from Westrow. We were shooting on Canon C300, Sony FS700 and Canon DSLR cameras for the Steadicam rig. Here's a little behind the scenes montage we shot in between the main shoots.
